The Villa du Temps retrouvé reopens its doors on 1 March for a 5th season packed with new discoveries!
Thanks to the Parcours Belle Époque exhibition, explore the pleasures of holidaying, the art of worldly living and the cultural effervescence of Marcel Proust’s time, with an exhibition of around a hundred works of art from French public and private collections, and exceptional loans.
There’s also a new temporary exhibition dedicated to Louis Pasteur! While the scientist’s name is associated with pasteurisation and rabies vaccination, the Louis Pasteur, the art of science exhibition invites you to discover lesser-known facets of his scientific career. You can find out more about Pasteur’s interest in the arts and artists, from his own practice as a young man, where he developed invaluable powers of observation, to the lectures he gave at the École des Beaux-arts, which made him a pioneer in preventive conservation.
