The Musée des Impressionnismes Giverny is dedicated to the art of the Impressionist movement. The museum showcases the work of Claude Monet, who lived and painted in Giverny for many years, as well as other Impressionist artists.
It was in Aunt Léonie’s house in Illiers-Combray that the young Marcel Proust spent many of his holidays as a child between 1877 and 1880. Now a furnished museum, it hosts temporary exhibitions such as ‘Marcel Proust, Prix Goncourt 1919’.
Les Franciscaines in Deauville combines a media library, a museum, exhibition spaces and an auditorium. The annual programme of events and exhibitions federates and decompartmentalises cultural practices.
