A unique and original museum space, the Villa du Temps retrouvé takes visitors on a journey back to the Belle Époque (1870-1914), a period of innovation, ambition and creativity, and the golden age of the seaside town of Cabourg.

This book brings together an anthology of the works that the house-museum hosted as part of its various seasons and exhibitions, immersing visitors in the art of living of the Belle Époque and in the world of Marcel Proust and his work.

This second volume completes the catalogue of the inaugural exhibitions of the Villa du Temps retrouvé (2021), shedding scientific light on the history and artistic creation of the Belle Époque. Alongside the scientific articles, the numerous notes on the works present the collections for the 2025 season, as well as a selection of major works exhibited in previous seasons.
